Evidence?

Getting caught in the act is plenty of evidence, frankly.

Priti Patel today summoned Cressida Dick and other chief constables responsible for the M25 and told them to be tougher on protesters after up to 80 eco-morons blocked the motorway for the third time in five days and also shut down the M3 and M11 as they ran riot.

The Home Secretary held the emergency Zoom call after protesters from Insulate Britain shut down the UK’s busiest road during rush hour every 48 hours this week and made forces policing the motorway ‘look like idiots’, one Tory MP said.

They don’t look like idiots, they are idiots. These are the same people who have been happy enough to arrest and charge Covid protestors leading to prosecution and fines, but this bunch of middle-class LARPers who are trying to force their Marxist ideology down our throats get a free pass. Likewise those Plane Stupid protestors who think it is clever to hold ordinary people hostage to their juvenile stunts.

I am all in favour of people holding legitimate protests as it falls within free speech – even if it is nasty little organisations such as this lot. However, this is not legitimate protest. This falls within the Highways Act. They are blocking the public highway and need to be arrested, charged and prosecuted accordingly.

Of course, we could just leave it to the inconvenienced motorists to sort them out as the rail passengers did the other year… I very much doubt they would be inclined to repeat the experience.

Finally, let’s never forget who these people are. They are Marxists. The eco bullshit is merely a Trojan horse for their deeply sinister and vile political ideology. They are attempting to use force because they know damned well that they would be roundly rejected at the ballot box. So, yes, Priti Patel and the relevant police forces need to act decisively. These hooligans are breaking the law and there is more than enough evidence to bring charges, so bloody well get on with it.

  1. No violence necessary, pull half a dozen artics up within 10 ft of the protesters and let the drivers just lay on the airhorns all together without let up.

Guarantee within minutes protesters gone, the half wit who glues himself to the tarmac just cone him off and leave him there, after an overnight sit in whilst vehicles thunder by feet away he/she won’t be returning for a second dose.

  2. The courts need to play their part as well. A moronic magistrate here in Australia dished out $20 fines to “climate” protesters who vandalised the national parliament.

  3. The problem isn’t really climate protesters who, after all, are mostly ignorant mugs. The problem is Parliament, the Government and those taking their orders, who are treating the protesters with kid gloves and thereby enabling this behaviour.

MPs are certainly aware that the people behind the ‘climate emergency’ crowd are Marxists cynically using it as a front. Even supposing MI5 are too ineffective to do so, I’ve told mine, myself, in letters as, presumably, so have plenty of other ‘Disgusted of Milton Keynes’ types. That they persist in letting them get away with it says some very uncomfortable things about their views and their honour.

Well, they seem to be doing the same thing themselves with the Tory Party…

  4. Re Highways Act and the Green-Loons’ Zeigler (?) claim / excuse

Motorways are a whole different ball game, it is illegal to walk on them

Police should be arrested, charged and fined / imprisoned for aiding & abetting criminal acts

Protesters allowed to walk in front of cars and block M25 by police

  5. Just run them over and if they get dragged under a car to the next exit, then look on the bright side. Thy ARE biodegradable. Surely they can’t object to that?

  6. If these cretins sit in the Road and superglue their hands to the tarmac, I think we should make their stay more comfortable. We can’t have them soiling their clothes on dirty, oily, road surfaces, so some spraying from fire extinguishers where they are sitting down can only be helpful. It will also help to wash off any oil on their clothes. How can anyone object?

  7. You know I read the articles in the press through the week and thought how nice it would be if the Police stopped trying to find excuses for these people and actually took the trouble to enforce the law to protect the public.

They seem to be able to do it when there are three of them ganged up on a single motorist at the side of the road, but as soon as there are five protestors it looks like thier spines fall out the bottom of their arses.

  8. John, it all depends if they are a ‘protected minority’.
Predominantly black people rioting over police brutality in (insert city of your choice)? Leave ’em to it.
Burn, loot, murder? No problem, let them get on with it.
Greenpeace, WWF,ER,Plane Crazy? What they are doing is “reasonable” (according to Caroline Lucas – I wonder how reasonable it would be if they blocked HER getting to an important meeting or jetting off on holiday)?
A load of older people peacefully demonstrating for Brexit or against lockdowns etc? Kettle em, push a couple of grannies to the ground then wade in and show them just how tough our boys in blue can be…..
