The UN has waded into the row over the racism report in the UK – the one that failed to find systemic racism, because, well, there isn’t any.

An arm of the UN accused the Government’s Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities (Cred) of trying to ‘rationalise’ and ‘normalise’ white supremacy in its ‘reprehensible’ report on race relations in Britain by ‘repackaging racist tropes and stereotypes into fact’.

This is the same UN that has among its members dictatorships that don’t do things like human rights. Yeah, that UN. Rather than put their own house in order, they prefer to interfere in the domestic affairs of a sovereign nation that so far (okay, covid laws and all that) is not a dictatorship that tramples on human rights.

And once again we get the trope (seeing as they mention it) of white supremacy. Now, I’m not going to argue that such a thing doesn’t exist because there are, indeed, some racist nutters who think that the colour of their skin sets them apart as special, but they are so far and few between that the idea has to be misrepresented to make it a thing – a bit like the PCR test – and this is what the race mongering industry has done. It has turned a tolerant, accepting society into a racist one merely by dint of making it up. If they repeat the lie often enough and loud enough, eventually people will accept it as fact. Now, where have we heard that one before?

When it came into being, the UN served a purpose – much like the EU. The post war countries seeking to put back the pieces after two devastating world wars looked at what could be done to prevent another. Out of this the league of nations and subsequently the UN came about. However, during my lifetime all that I have seen of this organisation is an apology for tyranny – after all, an organisation that has Saudi Arabia on its human rights commission can only be a joke.

Nope, this organisation has outlived its usefulness (if it ever really had any) – again, like the EU. And, as with the EU, we should walk away while giving a two-finger salute telling them where they can stick their institutionalised racism.

  1. On they other hand UN has been very good for Toyota and Nissan.
UN must buy at least half of the top of the range white 4x4s.

  2. A report that concludes that racism in the UK isn’t really much of an issue. Not really that important in the big scheme of things really. But bloody hell it has been like kicking over a rock and bringing millions of cockroaches into the light. Thousands of odious parasites are seeing their gravy train under threat and are coming out all guns blazing. If every one of them was defunded tomorrow, the world would be a better place. First by saving taxpayers’money and second by preventing the harm that they are doing to race relations.

    • And the vile language some of them have used against the people who produced the report. It shows them us as the racists they are. Yes, it’s shone a searchlight on a very ugly industry.
