It seems that there is some official resistance to the idea of internal passports.
Introducing Covid status certificates to help reopen society risks discriminating against some groups, the UK equality watchdog has warned.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission says certificates to prove who is vaccinated could help to ease restrictions “in principle”.
Actually, the only principle here is that it is deeply immoral to have any form of internal passport. This is kind of thing that the USSR did and we are not supposed to be the USSR, although it is becoming increasingly difficult to tell the difference these days with a government out of control on its power trip aided and abetted by a populace that seems to think that the government “making them safe” is worth the trade in liberty. I am frequently appalled at the lack of critical thinking going on here.

And deeply, profoundly immoral. But it seems the Johnson government has no idea what morals are. It would appear that we have a PM who is even more venal and power crazed than Tony Blair.
Baroness Kishwer Falkner, chair of the EHRC, said if the certificates are introduced, they must be time-limited and regularly reviewed by Parliament to ensure they are proportionate. She said those who cannot take the vaccine must have easy access to exemption documentation.
No. That’s playing their game. They must not be introduced in any form whatsoever – not for a bit – never because a short term will just be extended and extended to meet the latest emergency. It’s the way of these things. There are no circumstances where this is a good idea in a civilised society. And the idea of exemption certificates is the same thing under a different name – and idiotic as well. If you have either a vaccine certificate or one that exempts you, what’s the bloody point? Don’t these people do logic? Other than as a means of population control to see how many people meekly comply, there is no point whatsoever. The answer to that, going by the Farcebook posts of people virtue signalling their vaccination details for all to see is: too many.

Given Jailer Johnson (and Fauci, USA) now say “vaccine” makes no difference, only lockdowns work; why are “vaccines” and “vaccine” passports being inflicted on us?

The only persons on these island that will have ID chips are the ones coming up with these bullshit rules, then we can, and will police them.

It is not the lockdown. That just creates more uninfected potential hosts for any virus. It is the extensive roll out of vaccines which render people immune as a host to viral infection. I expect it is a combination of the vaccine and the continued lockdown which enables immunity to develop. So any lockdown coupled with vaccination should be pretty short. There should be no beed for a third lockdown in the autum if most people have has their second inoculation. Annual autumnal ones to follow as per ‘flu I expect. There should be no need for a Covid-19 vaccine passport when herd immunity is achieved.
