I started this blog in 2004 in direct response to an attempt to impose identity cards. And here we are…

NHS Wales will hand out ID cards to people who get a coronavirus vaccine to help them prove they have had the jab.

What is worse is that the slaves will beg for more slavery, the oppressed for more oppression. The more that these people erode our liberties, the more that the condemned will complain that the other guy’s noose isn’t tight enough.

Asked if there would be a vaccine passport, Mr Gove told Sky News on Tuesday: “No, that’s not being planned.

“I certainly am not planning to introduce any vaccine passports and I don’t know anyone else in Government…”

In other news, black is white, up is down and politicians are paragons of virtue and truth.

  2. What I don’t understand is why having to prove you had the vaccine is important? If you get vaccinated, you don’t care who has the vaccine or not. Or is that a new type of vaccine which only works if everybody has it, ie useless?

    • If you’ve had the vaccine then you are say 70% less likely to get Covid-19 (estimated number for oldies with a bit of immunosenescence coming on). So you go on a cruise. You’re going to be re-assured if the cruise operator insists that all the other oldsters on the pleasure journey have also reduced their chances of giving it to you by a similar amount.

      • Okay, I’ll play. Assuming that I want to go on a cruise (I don’t), the answer is neither more nor less than this time last year with the risk of catching the flu. I wasn’t vaccinated for that because it’s really not worth it unless you are in a vulnerable group and I’m not.

      • So basically, it’s of no use whatsoever as I think your immune system has a much better protection than 70%, and as it’s a new kind of vaccine, an injected auto immune disease as I understand it with too little time to know its potential adverse effects, I’ll pass thank you.

  6. I was told earlier that the first victims will be the elderly and those with learning difficulties. Now where have I heard that kind of plan before?

  8. I am staggered by the naivity of so many on here and similar blogs. So you are going to refuse the jab as I would like to do. OK fine but no ‘passport’. No ‘passport’ means no access to public transport, supermarkets and other things – including prescription drugs. They dont need the police to enforce this. Those of us with long term health issues (mine is diabetes) will not be able to get such things as insulin. In short your condition gets worse and it will probably kill you in the end. So you take the jab with no clue as to what is in it. Probably fine to start with, after all they dont want to scare the horses. What you dont know is that it is a Trojan horse jab. ‘They’ will then use the same tactics to get you to have a second ‘Follow up’ jab. You think its the same as the first, but it isn’t. What it does is trigger something put into your system by the first jab. What happens then is anybodys guess – but it wont be good ! These ‘vaccines’ are quite unlike anything that has gone before they affect your DNA there’s plenty on the internet about this. Once they have control over you – game over. The only way to upset their plans is for EVERYONE to refuse the jab and I mean EVERYONE. without that we undoubtedly face a dystopian future and I for one wont want to live in that.

I’ll get mine from real scientists and I’ll take the vaccine as soon as it’s offered. (By the way, did you diagnose yourself as diabetic or did you rely on science to do that for you? And do you make your own insulin or do you pay ‘Big Pharma’ to make it for you, not knowing what else they might have put in it?)

      • You make a couple of good points, however I’d like to know who these ‘real’ scientists are who keep you informed. Certainly not any of the SAGE members. By my experience the internet is the place where you will find all the real scientists, such as Mike Yeadon, Karol Sikora, Delores Cahill and all those who crated the Great Barrington Declaration. They are the real doctors, they don’t just play at it on TV. The media has tried to silence all these people because what they say does not fit the political narrative.

        I respectfully suggest that you stop putting all your trust in that little box in the corner and the newspapers. Listen to what both sides have to say and you will soon be armed with the knowledge to make informed decisions.

      I can understand that some misguided people might want to stop unvaccinated people from visiting supermarkets or using public transport, but who’s suggesting they should be denied access to prescription drugs?

  9. If this vaccine ‘will’ protect you from Covid and you are concerned for your safety, go ahead and take the jab.
    No one should be bothered on whether I have had the jab or not.

      But that’s not how they work is it? You’ll be accused of spreading disease or killing someone’s granny and treated like a leper. The fact alone that the government are even considering coercion should tell you that its not safe. You cannot produce a new vaccine and call it safe within 8 months or so. It takes years for proper trialing.

      Is it just me who can see similarities between the current situation and pre war Germany? Back then you wore a yellow star to show you were a jew. Now you carry a card to show your support for the regime.

      • Or the inverse. I carry a mask exempt card to avoid too much hassle. I don’t like it, but it means I can carry on without too much bother.

        As for the coercion, this is in breach of international law, so if it comes about, expect some serious push back. I don’t think that the government has the balls to do it, preferring instead to let it happen through a form of osmosis. But, again, any business that tries it on and finds themselves facing the courts may end up regretting it. We shall see.

  10. No ‘passports’ until after enough people have been jabbed. After all they don’t want to give people an excuse not to have it, do they? Bottom line is that it is pretty likely that it will be coming…and sooner not later.

  11. I’ve had, and recovered from, covid-19. According to Chapter 1, page 1 of any immunology textbook I am now immune. WTF should I bother with a vaccine that’s only partly effective, or any of the paperwork that goes with it?

    In terms of such a “killer disease” I’ve had far worse hangovers. NB I’m over 70 with “pre-existing” conditions…
