Following on from Cressida Dick refusing to police Christmas, it seems that the police north of the border are taking a similar stance.
Two million Scots were tonight plunged into a draconian Level Four lockdown, as police insisted they won’t set up a patrol to enforce plans to make crossing the border illegal.
Entering or leaving Scotland without a reasonable excuse was banned from 6pm today and anyone caught doing so could now be hit with a £60 fine.
Draconian doesn’t even begin to describe this outrageous assault on liberty. But the police response makes it a toothless tiger. After all, f it isn’t going to b policed, how will it be enforced.
Mind you, I’d call wanting to escape the clutches of the obnoxious Sturgeon should count as a reasonable excuse.
I have a DVD of the eighties movie Highlander. It has one of those bonus discs about how the movie was made. Early in the movie there is a Scottish battle scene. Basically they gathered up a bunch of hairy Jocks, dressed them up in period costume, got them pissed, gave them each a claymore and told them to get on with it. I wonder how all this would turn out if they were like that in real life.
I find myself wondering about the Scots. Did someone cut off their collective goolies? When did they become a nation of emasculated whiners?
They didn’t. They’re similar to scousers. The majority move south and then never cease to tell you how wonderful it is up north.
