It’s Insane

Yes, indeed, insane it is. Some of us (looking at you, Hitch) have been saying it for a while. Now, finally, people are blinking in the daylight and stating the obvious. This needs to stop. Lockdowns don’t work. Masks don’t work.

No, those of us who eschew the nonsensical mask wearing or go on protests to object to the CCP style rules are not “selfish”. I’ve got to the point where I immediately stop listening to anyone sufficiently stupid and hard of thinking to repeat this moronic mantra. As mentioned in the second video we have seen a rise in cases following the fatuous mask wearing diktat, so that’s working well, isn’t it? But, again, there is no scientific evidence to support the idea of mask wearing and there never was. Like the figures being bandied about by these jackanapes, it was plucked out of the ether.

Prime ministers and Governments cannot control the spread of an airborne pathogen. Only a psychopath puffed up with a planet-sized hubris would even try to suggest that he or his government can.

The tragedy here is that the bulk of the UK population are ill-educated, unable to engage critical thinking and have no idea what science is (let alone history) – and it isn’t stupid computer models that would be of more use predicting the winning lottery numbers.

Half-Witty and Unbalanced. Like it. An apt description for these two con artists. But someone even more half-witted and unbalanced is listening to these two charlatans pulling vastly inflated, fanciful figures out of their collective arseholes that have no basis in reality and is using them as an excuse to turn this country into a mirror of the Chinese communist Party’s dystopian vision.

What we need now is an army of carpenters to build those gallows. Oh, and a new Albert Pierrepoint.

  1. I quite agree LR. We must return to normality asap and let the virus work through. Our country is being trashed by these morons and their junk science.

  2. Between us, Mrs. Stonyground and I have three octogenarian parents. I understand that the risk to them is tiny but she is very worried about them. At least she is rational enough to think that hand sanitizer is a sensible precaution. Since the bug can be picked up by touching surfaces, hand sanitizer is actually likely to have some effect, unlike the masks.

It is actually possible they are making things worse. If you examine the way people use masks in real life, rather than how they are supposed to be used, one could argue that infected people using masks incorrectly (by re-using the same mask, constantly touching the mask and their face, not washing hands after removing and correctly disposing of masks) are in fact spreading the virus wherever they go, through mask to hand to surfaces contamination.

The law on face coverings in shops was put in place on 24th July, and ever since their use has become more and more widespread. And if you look at the chart of the number of positive tests in the UK, that just about marks the very point that cases started to rise. A real scientist might be questioning if there was a link.

    • The reason there are more ‘cases’ is the massive increase in targeted testing. Of more interest is the % of +positive tests to total tests which is going remorselessly down, much to the governments discomfort.

Ed. The number of ‘cases’ is now going down again despite the above, in complete contradiction of witless and unbalanced ‘not a prediction ‘ chart last week.

      • I still hold the same view that I came to in the second or third week of lockdown, targeted herd immunity is the only way forward.

This stupid government should encourage the students to infect each other as much as possible while minimizing contact with the general population. That way they will all have had it and got over it mostly without noticing and so be safe to have nan over for Xmas lunch.

Instead they try to lock them down thus ensuring that it will linger on with some avoiding it until late December, just in time to kill granny.

One can only hope that the students traditional determination to engage in casual promiscuity might yet save the day.

        • This is absolutely spot on. Lots of lunacy around at present but at or near the top is the policy to stop students infecting one another. Completely demented.

Bel Moony, DM Agony aunt went sceptic after rule of six law

MoS’s NHS Dr Ellie was her most sceptical yet yesterday about Gov’ts Covid policies

Unfortunately, Gov’t having none of it. Asda, Sainsburys now virtually enforcing masks. Morrisons too: all staff now masked again. I’d noticed this and wondered, then saw their new TV ad. Although I’ve not been challenged (yet)

    Insane? Insanity knows no bounds
‘Criminal’ ban on hydroxychloroquine based on ‘faulty’ study
The ban placed on COVID-19 treatment hydroxychloroquine by Australian bureaucrats violates the Hippocratic Oath taken by doctors and is based on a study since proven false

    Sadly Doctors
no longer obey Hippocratic Oath, money and Anti-Trump more important
