Jamie Oliver; Still a Tosser

Jamie Oliver thinks we are materialists obsessed with alcohol.

The 33-year-old describes his fellow countrymen’s materialistic attraction to widescreen TVs, cars, mobile phones, and – above all else – beer as being symptomatic of “the new poverty” blighting the UK.

Oliver’s latest attack follows a joke he made about the Holocaust last week, when dozens of Germans complained that he was insulting them.

This time the cook, who made his name as The Naked Chef in the late 90s, has turned his fire on everything from the paucity of British cooking to binge drinking.

Yes, Jamie, nice to see that you are swallowing whole the myths and legends spouted by the media and the Labour party without mastication. Factual analysis is not this jerk’s strong point, it seems.

This is the same self-righteous prick who thought that using his position as a celebrity (what’s to celebrate?) gave him the right to dictate government policy. It was refreshing to see parents rebel against the resultant dictat – because their children didn’t like the Jamie Oliver proscribed menus.

When it was suggested that the English can’t savour food because they drink too much, Oliver says: “It’s true. Historically we’ve never produced wine. We have a culture of alcohol and we’re more beer orientated: the only people who drink more than us are the Irish and the Scottish.”

These are facts are they? Or are they merely the opinions and prejudices of a self-obsessed kitchen boy who has been given a platform that is wholly undeserved and is trotting out the usual stereotypes?

Jamie Oliver; a prize wanker.

  1. “Oliver says: “It’s true. Historically we’ve never produced wine. We have a culture of alcohol…”

    Wine not being alcohol, now..?

And given that the UK Food Channel is forever showing his old TV series, which does its utmost to inculcate the ‘one of the lads’ image, frolicking with his mates and chugging alcohol like there’s no tomorrow (I recall his vodka watermelon in one episode), he does indeed have a bit of a cheek…

  2. He’s a cretin. Ever heard the expression about leading the horse to water Jamie? Well sometimes we don’t want to drink.
