Everything is “ist”

Sexist today as it happens.

Author Margaret Atwood has claimed that women’s rights and the climate crisis are ‘very connected’.

No they aren’t.

The Handmaid’s Tale writer, 80, from Ottawa, Canada, insisted that action around climate change is ‘very important’ and credited Greta Thunberg with leading momentum around this subject.

A know-nothing teenager who has been propagandised since birth and has no concept of what science is and who merely spouts it as one would spout “shazzam” at the bogeyman.

The novelist, who is also a keen environmental activist, said that those who ‘want to suppress women’ are the same people who often ‘want to pretend there is no climate crisis’.

There isn’t one. Climate changes and it has done so ever since this lump of rock solidified. Yes, sure, there are environmental matters that are of concern. The damage caused as a consequence of manufacturing electric vehicles, for example – but I presume we can’t mention that rampant hypocrisy. However, the statement is a non sequitur. I’ve not read any of this woman’s books and having read this drivel, am unlikely to. I am not pretending anything – I am well aware that any scientist who dares challenge the orthodoxy is vigorously excommunicated for heresy and that we are unable to have a rational discussion about the subject due to the cult-like status it has assumed. This does not mean that I want to suppress women as there is no causal link. That link is unadulterated bollocks on stilts.

Speaking to France24, the author insisted that if you deny climate change then you are in turn suppressing ‘very strong voices’ within that movement.

See how these charlatans twist the wording to suit themselves. I am not aware of anyone who has denied that the climate is changing. Given that we are coming out of an ice age, I would be highly concerned if it did not change. That does not mean that we have a climate emergency, because we do not. This woman is engaging in weasel words here. But, that is nothing new for the zealots in this vile cult.

‘[Climate change] will also mean social unrest, which can lead to wars and civil wars and then brutal repressions and totalitarianisms,’ she added. ‘Women do badly in wars — worse than in peacetime.’

Atwood is either being disingenuous or stupid. She is old enough to realise that these predictions have been made multiple times over the past half-century and every single one of them has failed to materialise. Every. Single. One. It is scaremongering with third wave feminism thrown in for good measure. No, I definitely won’t be reading any of her tedious anti-male bullshit novels. I’d rather poke my eyes out with a pointed stick.

  1. ‘[Climate change] will also mean social unrest, which can lead to wars and civil wars and then brutal repressions and totalitarianisms,’ she added. ‘Women do badly in wars — worse than in peacetime.’

This is pretty much equivalent to the Hillary Clinton quote:

Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat.

Because men are an irrelevance at best, even the soyboy male feminists. Worse still are the men who refuse to conform to the Feminazi/Global Warmists demands at which point the shaming begins “Misogynist! Racist! Nazi!”.

Totally bored of Feminazi and Global Warmist shrill screaching.

  2. It’s just terrible those voices within the climate change movement being suppressed isn’t it. We never get to hear what they have to say at all.

  3. The Eocene period 50 million years ago was a lot warmer than it is today. Average temp was 23 Deg C. Rain forest up to the poles. Then it got cooler and the rain forest receded. Animals thrived during the Eocene. So we have a way to go yet. I did note that humans did not live during those times so could not have contributed to the warming or cooling. Must be the sun then.

  4. Left wing conspiracy theorist says words. Journos jump about like there’s a new messiah.

    Rinse, repeat.
