Resolution

I appreciate that book stuff doesn’t get much response here, but a bit of an update anyway. I have finished my third novel “Resolution” and submitted it to Leggy. He will have to do a final edit and then it will be released. I’m pleased with this one as it’s been a long time in gestation. Indeed, the story arc has been forming over a period of about twenty years before I finally wrote it down.

Pascale Hervé has reached the end of her career with the Police Nationale and retirement looms. As she faces a turning point in her life, a ghost from the past brings back the haunting memories of a thirty-year old case and a motorcycle ride across Spain and Portugal.

As she revisits this case and reminders of a long-lost friend and colleague, she must unravel a mystery that she hadn’t realised has remained unresolved all this time.

Haunted not only by ghosts from the past, but also a very real gangster and his assassin who is seeking the same hidden treasure, she must stay alive long enough to discover the secret that her partner Geneviève Duval left for her.

As she unravels the past, she looks back on that ride of three decades before. Pascale has a ghost that needs laying to rest, a thirty year old riddle to solve and she must confront and cheat Death before she reaches a resolution.

Is it a crime thriller? Is it a ghost story?

Yes.

  1. Looks interesting. How long have you been a writer? I don’t think I have seen any of your books in book shops. Have I just been unobservant?

    • They are available on Amazon. Until Leg Iron Books moves away from this model, it won’t be in bookshops.

Leggy set it up in 2016, so early days.

I’ve been writing for about twenty years, but for most of that time it was just lurking on my hard drive.
