Sargon Gets It

Absolutely right. What you say doesn’t concern these people – it’s the fact that it can be weaponised. The outrage is artificial, the comment is taken out of context. There never was a rape threat and bear in mind here that Jess Phillips was mocking male suicide rates at the time, so was happy enough to engage in the rough and tumble of political debate.

So, yes, Carl Benjamin is quite right to refuse to apologise. You never, never apologise to these people because it merely gives them an opening to come in for the kill. Sky News might have cause to think again after his robust response to Kate McCann. And he is right to call the press dirty, dirty, dirty smear merchants. Indeed, if anything, he was a little too polite. They are not even good enough to be smear merchants.

  1. The foul, evil, commie bitch is uglier on the inside than she is on the outside. You couldn’t pay me enough to have sex with her.

  2. Yep, don’t apologise for telling the truth, defend it.

Male Suicide: Jess Phillips – the laughing MP

“…is this the sort of comment we expect from a public representative with such a prominent pulpit? Some might say that Jess Phillips revels in seeing herself as “a bitch” but given her mockery of those seeking to debate male suicide in Parliament; her attempt to downplay mass migrant sexual predation in Cologne; her incendiary use of language and apparent muted interest in the sexual grooming that pervades her own Constituency, perhaps this description is quite accurate?”
