Compare and Contrast

Following the discussion here.

What interested me was the reaction on social media to the egg-throwing teen, compared to the Covington ‘smirking’ teen furore that erupted earlier in the year: the former is lauded for instigating violence (slapping an egg against a person’s head from behind); the latter was lambasted for a facial expression (deemed unacceptable), whilst non-violently standing his ground…

These two cases really sum up the regressive left. On the one hand, we have a group of teenagers who did nothing wrong, yet are lambasted by the press for being “far right” so much so that the hypocritical Twitter has left calls for violence against them in place, while deleting accounts that dare to criticise the violent cult of Mohammed. It’s one reason I will have nothing to do with this platform.

Then you have Egg Boy – an entitled, spoiled ignorant brat who indulged in actual violence. But because his violence was against someone who is “far right” that’s good violence so it isn’t condemned, Indeed, it is the retaliation that is condemned and Egg Boy is feted as some sort of hero, despite being nothing more than a violent little thug. Frankly, Egg Boy got what he deserved.

And this “Far right” politician, what was it he said that was so awful?

‘I am utterly opposed to any form of violence within our community, and I totally condemn the actions of the gunman,’ he said.

‘However, whilst this kind of violent vigilantism can never be justified, what it highlights is the growing fear within our community, both in Australia and New Zealand, of the increasing Muslim presence.

‘As always, left-wing politicians and the media will rush to claim that the causes of today’s shootings lie with gun laws or those who hold nationalist views but this is all cliched nonsense.

‘The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.

‘Let us be clear, while Muslims may have been the victims today, usually they are the perpetrators. World-wide, Muslims are killing people in the name of their faith on an industrial scale.

‘The entire religion of Islam is simply the violent ideology of a sixth century despot masquerading as a religious leader, which justifies endless war against anyone who opposes it and calls for the murder of unbelievers and apostates.

‘The truth is that Islam is not like any other faith. It is the religious equivalent of fascism. And just because the followers of this savage belief were not the killers in this instance, does not make them blameless.

‘As we read in Matthew 26:52, ‘all they that take the sword, shall perish by the sword’ and those who follow a violent religion that calls on them to murder us, cannot be too surprised when someone takes them at their word and responds in kind,’ Senator Anning concluded.

You might argue that his comments were tactless given the timing, but they are objectively true. There is nothing in his statement that is not true. This, apparently, makes him “far right”. By their measure, so am I. But I’m not. I know I’m not. My politics haven’t changed greatly over the years. They have adjusted slightly as I rejected the socialist inclinations of my youth, but I’ve always been fairly centrist. I’m a classical liberal. I have always been inclined towards personal liberty. That I am now “far right” isn’t because I have changed, it’s because the Overton Window has lurched violently to the left. Now, ordinary people with sane, ordinary views are “far right”. And, it seems, violence against the “far right” is all okay with the regressive left.

These people are evil.

  1. Had someone of the right, i.e. somebody who has different views to those on the left, smashed an egg on the head of a darling of the left, the Twattersphere would have gone ballistic, trying to get the person sacked, whereas this little scrote is feted by the left and rewarded for being a violent thug.

      • Funnily enough I had a big row on another forum over this subject. Being a former Doorman, Karate/self-defence instructor I think I know a thing or two about scenarios such as this and the politician does absolutely nothing wrong. Neither do the people that take the egger down and hold him. What they didn’t seem to understand is that from a security point of view they have to assume that any attack may escalate to something unthinkable within seconds and they do not have the luxury of hindsight. I also told them that by defending the egg boy they are no better than those that defended the murderer of Jo Cox. I could hear the aneurisms popping across the country as they read those words….

  2. Don’t worry. The mood among the ‘far right’ seems to be changing. Brexit is the final straw in many peoples eye and come March 30th a few decisions will have been made.

This will be swept up with that.

  3. Senator Anning merely speaks the truth a truth that, for anybody with a single atom of critical faculty, has to be self evident.

Islam is different totally different. It is an endless war against the whole world.

The absolute refusal of the MSM, governments and the left to anything other than put their hand over their ears and go “la, la, la” is, I posit engaging large numbers of people even more than the Brexit lying.

    • The majority of people I speak to have no idea who Mohammed was or what Islam stands for. Many just assume he was a prophet along the lines of Jesus, peacefully wondering around preaching and doing good. Publicly telling people the truth as to who he was is likely to attract the attention of plod, even if you only quote from the Koran and Hadiths. The powers that be don’t want people to know that Muslims revere an utter shite of a human being who fooled the gullible into believing he received revelations from a god.

      • Which is interesting, because I have known since childhood that is is a warlike creed spread at sword-point. I’m not sure how, because I don’t recall anything from school – but I do recall studying the Crusades and being aware of the Muslim invasion of Europe and the struggle to get rid of them. I have also long been aware that slavery is a part of the doctrine. So if I know, then there’s no excuse really, is there?

  4. Islam feels justified in violence against ‘the other’ but is outraged at any retaliation. The Left feels exactly the same way.

I suppose that goes a long way to explaining why they get along so well together.

  5. Senator Anning spoke up and told the truth – admirable

Sadly he and his family will now be a target for Left Hate and doxing.

    1. Never had them
    2. Maybe, but Christian Royalist Patriot first
    3. Yes, always. Rules/laws – respect/consider and maybe pah. More important – Do his/my actions harm anyone?

  6. I live about 300 km from Christchurch,so we have had continuous cover of this awful thing.I feel sorry for all those who have lost family, but there is also a feeling that it was only a matter of time before it happened. It is noticeable that there has been little to no coverage of the recent killing of Christians in Nigeria by Muslims . It seems that there is a selective blindness on the part of western governments and media. I am reminded of the way the world sleepwalked into the W.W.2, all the signs were there but no one did anything until it was too late. The way in which anyone who draws attention to the dangers of society being overwhelmed by what is an alien culture is vilified and shouted down is worrying.
