Bit of an old story this… The obnoxious Corbyn wanted a boycott.

Jeremy Corbyn demanded a boycott of Arsenal football club after it accepted sponsorship from the Israeli tourist board, MailOnline can reveal.

The Labour leader, who is known to be an Arsenal supporter, demanded that fans abandon his own club after Israeli holiday destinations were advertised at the stadium.

I don’t follow football, so it doesn’t affect me. However, if I did, I’d be giving Corbyn the two-fingered salute. If he doesn’t want to go to matches and pay the relevant subscriptions, fine. I’m sure they’ll be devastated that he won’t be there. Meanwhile, the rest of the fanbase will carry on without him and that’s a good thing for everyone. Boycotting Israel is merely thinly (that is, not really) disguised antisemitism.

Gideon Falter, chairman of the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, said: ‘Jeremy Corbyn’s obsession with Israel blinds him.

‘He has called for a boycott of his own football club, not because of its close association with the Emirates – which engages in torture and execution – but because of some obscure connection to Israel.’

Well, yes, a bit of torture by the Muslims isn’t a problem. A small democratic nation fighting to secure its borders is, apparently.

Much as I dislike football, politics has no place in sport. And people who try to mix the two are generally charlatans like Corbyn, but I repeat myself.

Since then he has wriggled a bit.

Mr Corbyn has since maintained that he opposes a boycott of Israel as a whole, instead supporting a boycott of produce from settlements on the West Bank.

Right…

The more people dig, the more is found to demonstrate an anti Israel antisemitic ideologue. The left has always had a problem with antisemitism. These stories that surface now merely demonstrate this and that it is now part of the leadership.

  1. Is he trying to lose the next election? Seriously, the state May was in today after the 27 said ‘non, nein, niente, nee, ne, Ei,O’hi etc etc’ even David Cameron could lead Labour to victory next time, ok ya?

    • The problem is that his past is catching up with him. All the time he was a rogue backbencher none of this counted for much. Now he’s party leader it’s coming back to haunt him. Popcorn time.

oooh now I get the allusion! You were alluding to “Gaul was entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely….One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders” , am I right?

Hmm, coming soon DM/Sun/Express article exposes Corbyn lied again.

Wonder how Soda-Stream former employees feel about his & left boycott?

Not sure this is true. As far as I can see, they’re absolutely fine with it.

  5. As an Arsenal fan myself I’m glad we are one Communist down. He’s been a teenage revolutionary his whole life and now he’s been given a sniff of power he’s regretting his former views as even he knows that he can’t win a majority as Wolfie Smith.

  6. As a Spurs fan, I’m more than happy to see the Arse boycotted, but politics shouldn’t be brought into it. That Corbyn is an Arse fan is no surprise, I always knew he was a wrong’un. 🙂
