Oh, FFS!

Bye bye Arkwight.

They were acting on a complaint that the goods kept outside on the pavement were a health and safety risk.

Seriously? Health and Safety being misused again here. Those council officials should have told the complainant to get a grip.

Authority leader Toby Savage said officers were obliged to investigate a resident’s health and safety concern.

Maybe…

However, they’ve not been asked to completely remove the display, which is a good thing. But I go back to my earlier statement.

  1. Who wants to bet that the “complaint” came from someone associated with a local supermarket giant?

    • More likely a shop owned by a PONA with a larger on pavement display of boxes of mouldy fruit & veg.

Here in Festival/Fringe SNP Land they’re the only shops allowed to.
