Ah, Ha!

Didn’t we just see that one coming?

The EU referendum must be “re-run” after the official Brexitcampaign was found to have breached electoral spending laws by the official watchdog, MPs have said.

Senior Conservative MP Sarah Wollaston said Vote Leave had been involved in “deliberate cheating” during the 2016 referendum campaign, which cast doubt on the Brexit result in the minds of the public.

There was more than one Leave campaign. And those of us who voted to leave did so for our own reasons – not because of propaganda or scare stories or lies (both sides were guilty of that), not because of the Russians, not because we are racist xenophobes, but because we could see the EU for what it is. Nothing, nothing, has changed to alter my opinion of the unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats in Brussels and nothing will convince me to vote to remain in this corrupt, anti-democratic oligarchy.

So “Leave” overspent by a bit. So what? “Remain” used our money to send propaganda to all of us whether we wanted it or not and they used government resources to peddle their message, so all’s fair in love and war. Leave won. Get over it. No, we do not need another referendum. One was quite enough.

This really does tell us what these vile people think about democracy and the demos in general. Mind you, my opinion of them is somewhat lower.

May’s latest skulduggery – Close parliament

May’s decision improves her prospects of making it through to the summer break without a leadership challenge. On Monday night, it emerged that No 10 had proposed bringing forward the summer recess to Thursday, to reduce the time available for Conservative MPs to hold a confidence vote if one were to be called, although Labour and some Tory MPs indicated they were considering voting against any attempt to impose an early holiday.

    Brave Theresa ran away.
    Bravely ran away away.
When danger reared it’s ugly head,
She bravely turned her tail and fled.
    Yes, brave Theresa turned about
    And gallantly she chickened out.
    Swiftly taking to her feet,
She beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Theresa May

This just shows the contempt for democracy that these people have when their schemes are thwarted. We rail at the anti-democratic nature of the EU but this is just as bad.

The next General Election is going to be an interesting time, in the Chinese sense, since this destroys any lingering thought that the Tories had any honour, apart from JRM and a few others.

  2. Remain undeclared:

    £9Million taxpayers’ money
    Cameron’s bribe to Obama £5Million?
    BoE, IMF, EU, UN, CBI…..

Also, Do Not Forget manipulation of electoral register:
Extension to allow more youth to register & MSM campaign urging them too, esp BBC3 & C4 state broadcasters
    Students voting twice
Students intimidated to vote remain – NUS claiming they would know if leave vote

  3. It’s the European way, if you have a referendum and the people vote the wrong way, you have another referendum, and another, and another, until the populace gets the message and votes the right way. We’re ALL European now. 🙁
