Cheeky Git

The Pope.

Pope Francis has asked for forgiveness for all Christians who buy sex from women.

The 81-year-old pontiff described men who frequent prostitutes as criminals with a “sick mentality” who think women exist to be exploited.

“This isn’t making love. This is torturing a woman. Let’s not confuse the terms,” he said.

Who is he to ask forgiveness for two consenting adults engaging in a mutually beneficial transaction? None of his business.

The pontiff, who has made the fight against human trafficking and modern-day sex slaves a priority during his pontificate, urged young people to take up the fight against trafficking and forced prostitution.

Ah, right. There is prostitution and there is forced prostitution. Let’s not confuse the terms, eh?

  1. I don’t think that anything else is any of his business either to be honest. He can feel free to lecture Catholics on various aspects of their behaviour as much as he sees fit, he has no authority whatsoever over the rest of us. As for torture, the RCC knows quite a lot about that particular subject.

  2. Reading the whole “report”, it looks like a bait-and-switch by the reporter. I’m no fan of organised religion but it does seem he’s done Francis a bit of a disservice not clarifying what his remarks were in relation to until someway in to the article.

    • All the news reports seem to be saying the same thing. It was a question and answer session and he does appear to be lumping forced prostitution in with prostitution generally.

  3. I’m a sort of Catholic and dumbass lackwits like the socialist twat Frank are the reasons why I avoid the church more and more.

He’s so stupid as to be evil.
