My first thought was that he must be going to jump ship and join a different party. Of course that led me to contemplating how awful all the other parties are. At the next election I will be faced with the choice of voting for the Tories even though I despise them because Corbyn is just too horrible to contemplate, or not voting at all. I could take some consolation from the fact that, living in a safe Tory seat, my vote has never made the slightest difference anyway.
Indeed, after all that has happened it’s come right back round to which is the least worse or dangerous option of the three parties of betrayal.
Not as that made a difference last time, not one of them was worth the effort of wandering up to the polling station, we toyed with going there and drawing a cock and balls on the slip to highlight our disgust but decided they weren’t even worth that effort.
