  1. My first thought was that he must be going to jump ship and join a different party. Of course that led me to contemplating how awful all the other parties are. At the next election I will be faced with the choice of voting for the Tories even though I despise them because Corbyn is just too horrible to contemplate, or not voting at all. I could take some consolation from the fact that, living in a safe Tory seat, my vote has never made the slightest difference anyway.

    • Indeed, after all that has happened it’s come right back round to which is the least worse or dangerous option of the three parties of betrayal.

      Not as that made a difference last time, not one of them was worth the effort of wandering up to the polling station, we toyed with going there and drawing a cock and balls on the slip to highlight our disgust but decided they weren’t even worth that effort.
