Idiot!

That buffoon Heseltine.

Britain has lost an historic level of power and influence by triggering formal Brexit negotiations with the EU, former Conservative Deputy Prime Minister Lord Heseltine has said.

The Tory peer, who campaigned to remain in the EU, said he did not believe Britain would wield any cards at the negotiation table.

What? Seriously, what has he been smoking? We can leave on whatever terms we wish. We can negotiate or not, it is up to us to decide. If the EU doesn’t play ball, we can just walk and operate a low-tax, tariff-free zone and attract enterprise. Yes, we should absolutely become a tax haven. Tax havens are good for tax competition and tax competition is good for all of us – except the greedy, grasping, avaricious states that are trying to operate a cartel.

We are the ones leaving so we set the terms. That’s assuming our politicians have any gumption, that is…

As for loss of power… WTF!?!

  1. If anything its the reverse. It is now about re-acquiring historic power and influence given away by traitorous scumbags like Heseltine over the last 40 odd years.

    He’s a complete fuckwit!

  2. As Theresa May said. No deal is better than a bad deal. In other words we can simply walk away.

  3. Time to remind ourselves the old joke :
    Q. How do you tell when a politician is lying?
    A. When thier lips are moving.

  4. To be fair to Heseltine, it’s well-known that some people go completely dotty after a certain age.

  5. I saw a tweet today that claims Heseltine receives over £900,000 in farm subsidies per year from the EU. If true it puts a serious question mark against his pro EU rankings.

  6. “That’s assuming our politicians have any gumption…” And that is our Achilles heel. Do we have any politician who has more than two brains cells to rub together? Do we have any politician who has one ounce of common sense?

Sadly, I think the answer to both those questions is, “No!”
