I’m with Timmy here – there ain’t enough rope.
A married couple has been barred from adopting their two young foster children after saying a child needs a ‘mother and father’ – and not gay parents.
The husband and wife, who are both Christians, have been fostering the children for almost one year and started looking after them when they were pre-school age.
(My emphasis) Ah, that’ll be it, then. If a couple who followed the ROP said as much, I suspect it would have been overlooked…
Truly, the world is going mad.
And, yes, we need to get some rope in. Tout suite.
Update: The comments to Tim’s piece make depressing reading. While Tim is a liberal, once again the vile social authoritarians who inhabit his comments section remind us that authoritarians are thoroughly nasty people whatever their political flavour. Thank fuck these people have no power…
