The Biter Bit

Sometimes we see schadenfreude and it is nice to quietly enjoy it. Over the past few decades, we have observed the free speech principle eroded by the politically correct left. We can say what we please, so long as it is approved speech and no one is offended, for causing offence is a mortal sin.

So, once in a while one of their own gets caught up in the web of their making. So it is with Bahar Mustafa, a racist, misandrist and all-round bad egg. This nasty little shit first came to our attention when she exhorted white people not to attend a rally or some such bollocks that activists of a student, leftist persuasion like to attend. The rest  of us don’t because we have lives to live and food to put on the table. Naturally, she was called out as a racist. Correctly so. Her attempts to wriggle out of this charge were the usual infantile excuses about “power” that these creatures fall back on when played at their own game. This is bollocks. Racism is racism and having a slightly pigmented skin does not excuse you, just as having a vagina does not excuse sexism. Still, she tried.

However what seems to have really got her into hot water is a tweet. Isn’t it always? Twitter; the medium for the hard-of-thinking.

A student diversity officer who was caught up in a racism row after allegedly posting ‘kill all white men’ on social media has been summonsed to court to face malicious communications charges.

This is a Julie Bindel level of misandry. But at least Bindel only wants to lock us up and ban heterosexuality rather than exterminate us. Now, being an adult (unlike Mustafa), I do not actually believe that this idiotic tweet was incitement to murder. Even if she would like us all murdered to make the world a more pure place in her warped imagination. It was the stupid kind of thing extremist, idiotic leftist students come out with, for they tend to be intellectually stunted – they wouldn’t come out with such extremist nonsense if they had any intelligence or, for that matter, any empathy.

Now, I’d be perfectly happy to let the tweet stand as a testament to her evil. That is free speech and I would defend her right to make the most vile comments imaginable if she wishes, for I am a better person than she is. We can see and judge her by her words and cross the road when we see her coming. All reasonable people would shun such an excrescent homunculus.

But, no, the leftists have taken over our language. You can’t offend anyone. And, importantly, you cannot call for chunks of the population to be killed – even if you don’t actually mean it. So, Mustafa is facing charges. It couldn’t happen to a more deserving person. The left have created both Mustafa and the dystopian attacks on our freedom of speech. Eventually, the two came into contact with messy results.

So, me, I’m sitting back and enjoying the show.
