This is Just Silly

Saint Bob wants those who were daft enough to buy his dirge to delete it and buy it again to raise even more money. Anyway, as the BBC points out, this is easier said than done.

So Geldof wants people to open up lots of new Google or Apple accounts…. Probably not. More likely he opened his gob without thinking. Either way, don’t download it at all. Although plenty have. More fool them. If you really want to give then, by all means do so, but encouraging vacuous celebs who think that giving up  few hours of their valuable time to record a dire charity single is doing charitable work is best avoided. I for one am tired of being harangued by wealthy celebrities into giving up money I can precious little afford. If they reckon the cause is good let them donate. If not, I certainly won’t. And I certainly won’t while the state continues to help itself to my money and give it to so-called charities I certainly do not want to support.

  1. It was bad enough listening to the original for half a lifetime; the rehash is 4king dire. Speaking of fake charities and champagne socialists, I’ve just read that Bliar has been given some award or another – by Save the 4king Children. You couldn’t write it – unless you were a politician.

  2. said the exact same myself on my google+ wall yesterday.
It was trite dire rubbish first time for a lost cause now it’s just updated dire trite rubbish for another cause we shouldn’t be supporting.
