I never cease to be amazed by the prudery that exists in our society. To the point recently where a couple of skinny dippers have been threatened with inclusion on the sex offenders register. It seems that the Victorian horror of the naked human body hasn’t left us after all. The reason for this over reaction was, apparently, that children might see a couple of nude bodies. Words fail me.

The police seem to be competing in some Mean & Petty Minded Olympics lately. Take this:

Technical offence? Yes. But seriously, how much of a jobsworth do you have to be to write it up rather than have ‘words of advice’?
And they wonder why they bare increasingly loathed…
I bet Stephen Gough would happily give those coppers a poke in the eye !

It’s all very odd – and very worrying from the point of view of personal freedom.
Given the energy devoted on all sides to deploring the effects on children of a wicked ‘hyper-sexualised’ society, there is more than a little irony in this official inability to recognize non-sexual nudity even when swimming.
Well,
I know of one on the sex offenders register because he was caught getting a blowjob from a woman (both overage) in an alleyway. They’re throwing people on the sex offender’s list for almost anything now. Odd that, from what I gathered, the man and the woman weren’t offending anyone and enjoying an ‘extra curricular’ activity. It appears that those who should be offended were those arrested by the voyeur filth.
Nothing new here, pass along please, after all we mustn’t offend christian (to which we can now add “muslim”) “community” values, must we?
Fuck’em all says I
