Old Holborn is proposing a tax strike.
I want to raise an army of the outraged, the enslaved, the downtrodden and the fed up. I want to use the Internet to cut of the supply of funding to the financially addicted in Whitehall. I want borrowing stopped, projects cancelled, donations cancelled. I want to deny those who already consider us and our property to be their chattels denied access to our funding. I want the powers that be reminded that they have no money of their own, it is all extracted by force from us – not the other way around.
Quite right, too. The bastards consistently fail to look close to home when it comes to stopping the hemorrhage. They could slash the size of the state overnight and save us billions – there are a number of surplus departments of state that could go. They could stop funding quangos and the third sector parasites and they could damned well stop funding third world kleptocracies.
That said, I’m self employed. As such I arrange my affairs to minimise my exposure to these parasites already. Indeed, I’ve spent so much of my income this year on building my new business, likely as not, I won’t be declaring any taxable income on my next tax return – it all went to motorcycle dealers for repairs, a new bike, clothing, helmet and so on. Better they have it than the wastrels of the state. If I do have to pay anything it won’t be much.
So, I wish OH well as I’m already doing my bit. Remember, tax avoidance is not immoral, it is legal and it is every citizen’s sacred duty to deny the beast by managing their affairs to minimise the tax extracted by threat of violence.
If you want immorality, look no further than the green benches where the 650 arse rape our wallets to fund their wanton profligacy.

(Of course, parts were always a problem on bikes that had never been “officialy” imported.)

I already am. In my business I have several schemes that would double my income. But I live very happily on what I make now, I am single, no dependants. I refuse to work hard and let the State take 50%+ of my efforts (I would be well into the highest tax bracket if I went ahead). So they get 50% of nothing. F*ck ’em.
I went into the next tax bracket a few years back. Never again.
They want us to go “freelance” in my job here.
“Payed by results”…. which means we must pay our own tax (meaning no PAYE), Health/sozial/unemployment insurance, Pension.
FORGET it, I am OUT!
How the HEL do they measure “results”, with a job that is basically research for the “Government”?
Too many chances for them to fiddle the arse out of your “results” pay packet.
I am training, in my “free time” to be a Demenzkrank (Alzheimers, but it is not THAT simple) “nurse”…..(Male, naturly, IF the difference even EXISTS any more!)

I moved out of the UK ten years ago and haven’t paid a penny in tax since…
I was disgusted by the waste and interference at the time.
I will however be visiting in a week – I wonder if I will be able to spot any evidence that any of the trillions the gubberment has pissed away has been wisely spent?
