Cats Come Home

The cats are settling into their home in Bristol. The originals clearly remembered it and the French ones are quick learners.

PS –  can you spot the difference?

Who is the especially grand cat who gets a cushion? (Lovely image, btw.)

    Oh, that’s Cleo.

She permits you to use the abbreviation ‘Cleo’?

It’s amazing they always seem to maintain ‘personal space’ – our two Siamese are always to be found wrapped round one another, usually in the same radiator-hammock!

She knows who opens the tins ;) That said, she didn’t half give us and the vet some scratches last week.

They always do the personal space thing. Occasionally a couple of them will snuggle up together – usually mother and daughter or sisters and brothers.

Great photo. Do the cats have their own dedicated bedroom? Just wondering as one of my neighbours has allocated one bedroom solely for use by her cats, and she’s only got three.

  9. Longrider says:

No, they share ours. Or is it we share theirs? I never can tell.

Now only having one indoor cat I miss what yours are displaying there so well – we call it Cat Art. It involves two or more cats mimicking each other’s position with one key difference between the original and the mimic, the tail being the favourite tool for the variant. Yours are very advanced: from opposite sides of the bed each middle cat is copying the other, almost.

jd, those three cats will never sleep in their bedroom – that would be tantermount to submission to human will.

Another feline game is bookends where two cats sit side by side in mirror image poses.

Seven?! Jeez, you must eat a lot of cat hair. There’s enough of it round here with just two.
