Return of the Otter
Following my excursion to look at otters a couple of weeks back, it’s nice to see that they are returning to the British countryside.
The question is; what have they got against Kent?

Otters never left here. We’ve had a couple of pairs living in the river here for many years. The only problem is persuading the minkhounds that *this* is an otter, whereas *this* is a mink. It can be hard (for me) to tell, but the hunt master says the hounds have no problem.

That puzzled me too. It doesn’t seem any less well stocked with rivers than any other county. Perhaps it has – overall – higher human population density?
