I think Neil meant this tongue in cheek …no? If nothing else he’s makes the tacit admission that Nulab have just made everything worse (even higher house prices, even more centralisation, even worse school dinners etc) and have done nothing to reverse any of Thatcher’s changes (not all of which were for the good).
Neil lacks the subtlety required for tongue in cheek. Unless he had a sense of humour transplant that no one knew about…

You’re right. He has indeed totally lost the plot.
I’m not sure he really had it in the first place. Given the sweeping assertions without evidence presented as fact and the blind adherence to socialist propaganda despite contrary evidence, I could, I suppose, be generous and suggest that he is a product of our educations system rather than stupid. However, I am also a product of our education system and managed to break free of the socialist propaganda.
A fine example of Reductio ad Thatcherum? Thatcher is now officially the Bogeyman of the left, mediocre labour politicos probably tell their kids to check under the bed for Thatcher before they fall asleep at night!
