You Couldn’t Make It Up…
One of the guys over at Samizdata has been following up on yesterday’s suggestion of naming and shaming the people and organisations responsible for the pernicious ID Cards Bill.
Well, the first to come out are the consultants who were paid a grant total of £78,000 to provide a feasibility study for the Home Office back in 2002 - they were: Fujitsu , BT & PriceWaterhouseCoopers. This group made up a consortium called the Sirius Programme.
Any relation to the Sirus Cybernetics Corporation, perchance?
